Whilst waiting for our flight to Edinburgh I’ve worked out my photo problem from last night, and have upgraded my WordPress plan because it was full !

Walking to Loch Clickiminin reveals a Broch or tower at one end. First built between 700-800 BC the tall 10 metre high structure was completed approximately 400 years later. It’s an impressive pile of stones, and entering it reveals a maze of corridors and rooms all set on different levels.

3 different terrace levels
Amazing stonework to have survived so long

I then walked back around the headland, the blue sky giving a lot different feeling to the last time in the howling wind and rain.

Crystal clear water today

As I finished my walk one of the Viking ships up anchored and sailed away, next stop Bergen.

Bairns beach, people were swimming !
