We have another day at Sea today, but not before a 5am sail past Jan Mayen Island. This is home of the northernmost volcano in the world, in the middle of nowhere !(the Greenland Sea actually)

We have a very busy day tomorrow, and leave the ship early the next day…….so the blog might incur a slight delay till normal service resumes. ps we’ve just informed about a full offer on our narrowboat Prime Thyme…..subject to survey she’s sold 😢

Just looking at Mayhenpictures,so clear and calm and isolated….a bit cold perhaps to be a castaway. So nearly time to leave your luxury accom…I think that will be hard to beat! Pleased to hear no problems re prime time….you will always have her memories. M & L visit today with shopping, Freya home with one Day to get in the work mood after a good holiday, whale shark swimming the highlight! Anew girl from Bhutan for the evening, I am getting extremely knowledgeable on Bhutan culture, their King has four wives and very young. So small it is not easy to get jobs, so many leaving forAus. If they can get a visa, some leaving their children behind with Mother to rear. But I have never met such a number of happy people, their religion is compassion. 🌹🌹

Magnificent photo’s again Mark! Pity about the Polar Bear non sighting!! Good but sad news about PT! you both have so many wonderful memories cruising with her and all the friends you have made, but I am sure it is not the end of your cruising days. Rosie looks as cheeky and relaxed as usual! Bet both her and Cooper will be looking forward to seeing you when you both get home. Take care and enjoy the rest of your holiday. Love to you both. Susan
