Another warm day, this time at Taormina, at the foot of Mt Etna. Our enthusiastic guide this morning wanted to make sure we knew where we were by saying we were in Sardinia about to embark on a 3 museum tour……..a big joke Fabritzio ! In fact we are in Scilly, about to see some beautiful towns and their churches.

First up Catania, and a wonderful Cathedral with astrological clock. A hole in the ceiling let’s light in at times which you can read the time off, on where it strikes on the floor.

Also some great light posts, statues and fountains within University Square.

Then at drive to Acireale via the Cyclops Riviera Road. Another beautiful church with a fantastic ceiling. All too soon time to drive back for out tender…..Ciaio Ciaio
