We have a week in Scotland, staying in Smiddy Cottage, near Pitlochry. I think Hazel is enjoying having a big bathroom and room to move !  We are just doing day trips but loving the scenery and wildlife, especially the red squirrels. The Crannogs reconstruction, a 500 BC dwelling built over water was interesting, and the autumnal colours are just starting to show in the bracken and heather.
